As a Charity, LIVES relies heavily on donations from members of the public. There are various ways that you can help LIVES to raise the funds necessary to provide a rapid emergency response across the county. These include:

        * Organising a fund raising event (proceeds to LIVES)

        * Making a one-off cash donation to LIVES

        * Arranging a regular direct payment to LIVES

        * Supporting your local Responder group by participating in and giving at their fund raising events

        * "Sponsoring" a group or individual member in your area

        * Making a bequest in your will to LIVES

How will your money be used?

The costs below indicate the monies needed to buy equipment and support our volunteers:

        Equipment Costs

        * First Responder Kit and Training:         £4100

        * Defibrillator:                                       £1850 (G3 Pro)

                                                                    £1350 (G3)

        * Pulse Oximeter:                                  £240

        * Oxygen Cylinder (annual costs):            £72 per cylinder

        Running Costs (this includes communications, insurance, clinical and administrative support)

        * First Responder Group:    £1650 - £2000  per year
