LIVES Training
LIVES Training
department runs under Clinical Directorship of Dr Yvonne Owen and
EMAS
Paramedic Trainer and LIVES Training Officer Alan Baxter.
LIVES also have a
Clinical Governance committee who are responsible for any Clinical
Policy decisions which may affect the Training Department.
Our training courses
are verified by the Institute of Healthcare and Development (IHCD) and
we also have Health and Safety Executive (HSE) accreditation.
LIVES courses are available to those who have successfully applied to
become members of the LIVES organisation. We can also offer external
training courses to non members please contact LIVES

Medics:
As prior qualification is necessary to
become a member, LIVES do not give any formal training. However, all
Medics are all encouraged to study for recognised and authorised courses
with BASICS. Help with funding may be given towards these qualifications
by LIVES completely at the discretion of the organisation.
